22.5.2019 Academy 2019 – Cultural Heritage ePromotion in the Krka & Kolpa/Kupa River Basin is a follow-up of the 25.5.2018 Novo mesto Academy at the European Year of Cultural Heritage.

Slovene is the working language of the Academy 2019. There is no registration fee. A participant covers her/his travel costs. Registration is required at Gricar@FOV.Uni-Mb.si. The coordinates of the registered participants will be published.

Novo mesto Regional Office, Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, founded in 1980, responsible for cultural heritage in the Dolenjska and Bela krajina regions.


The objectives of the Academy 2019 – Cultural Heritage ePromotion in the Krka and Kolpa River Basin are the following

Presenting the famous cultural heritage of villages and towns in the Krka and Kolpa River basins.
Demonstrating less well-known components of cultural heritage and proposing measures to increase their visibility.
Suggesting ways to improve the promotion of cultural heritage.
Initiating measures for the exploitation of cultural heritage for the sustainable development of tourism in the Krka and Kolpa River basins.


Cilji Akademije 2019 – E-promocija kulturne dediščine v porečju Krke in Kolpe so naslednji:

Predstavitev znane kulturne dediščine vasi in mest v porečju Krke in Kolpe.
Prikaz manj znanih sestavin kulturne dediščine in predlaganje ukrepov za povečanje njihove prepoznavnosti.
Predlaganje načinov za izboljšanje promocije kulturne dediščine.
Sprožanje ukrepov za izkoriščanje kulturne dediščine za trajnostni razvoj turizma v porečju Krke in Kolpe.
