Questions arise as to how to help seniors become eSeniors. These are those seniors who are trained to use the variety of online services they need frequently. Such training requires educational programs that include practical work with eTechnology, as the senior has at disposal in the home environment. There needs to be a person close by who can help the senior when she/he has a problem using the technology. Achieving this is a demanding long-term process, but it is probably the key to the inrformation society in which seniors are supposed to be equal users of eServices.

The whole effort includes the idea of lifelong learning, in which the digital library plays a major role.

Network of eSeniors 55+ Networks
Omrežje omrežij e-seniorjev 55+

The founders of the Network of eSeniors 55+ Networks believe that it is timely and doable to engage the individuals who have interest in active aging and are accelerating their use of eTechnologies to support themselves, their families, and society. In doing so, they are willing to eCollaborate with others.

The network was established at the ZOOM meeting on July 21, 2021.

Ustanovitelji omrežja omrežij e-seniorjev 55+ verjamejo, da je pravočasno in izvedljivo vključiti posameznike, ki jih zanima aktivno staranje in pospešujejo uporabo e-tehnologij za podporo sebi, svojim družinam in družbi. Pri tem so pripravljeni e-sodelovati z drugimi.
