Geodetic Institute of Slovenia (GI) is a leading Slovenian public institution for geoinformatic, geodetic, cartographic, and hydrographic applied research and development, established in 1953. Funded completely project-wise, GI can be your partner in public, private, international and research sectors. Recently, GI is active in projects related to location based services, geo-visualization, open data, e-content, e-services and augmented reality for diverse users.

TransSLO Initiative
The Transport Economics Centre, University of Maribor, Faculty of Civil Engineering & Ministry of Infrastructure and Spatial Planning, Republic of Slovenia
TransSLO initiative is based on the successfully implemented projects TransSLO and TransSLO-PLUS. Its priority is the integration of the research community and industry on the national level, while the second goal of the initiative is to promote new partnerships and expand involvement in European projects in the field of transport. Furthermore, the TransSLO initiative serves as a transfer point of knowledge and experience gained by the professionals and actors in the scope of transport research, fostering of innovation and transport policy making.
